This is the first blog post written in org-mode and converted to Markdown by the pipeline.

Why org-mode?

Org-mode is a powerful authoring format native to Emacs. It supports:

• Structured headings
• Rich metadata via keywords and property drawers
• Source code blocks with syntax highlighting
• Links and images

Next steps

The pipeline converts this .org file into .md with YAML frontmatter, then Eleventy builds it into HTML.
